Geoff Harrison has worked in radio for over 17 years, predominantly throughout South East Queensland. He joined the 4BH team in 1997.
Geoff has worked in roles in production, is a well loved on air personality and for the last few years has been music director and assistant program director.
Away from work, Geoff also involves himself in several community activities. He has been a member of Variety (Qld) The Children’s Charity for a number of years and has organised many 4BH Radio-thons for them. He is also Chairman of the Liberty Swings program which is part of the appeals committee.
What was your first job?
While I was still at school I worked part-time on our local milk run. Yes, those were the days when the milko would home-deliver and you could ride on the side of a truck without having to worry about workplace safety regulations.
