New public art collection unveiled
This Hotel is not what it seems. It is actually a work of art, conceived by Victorian artist Callum Morton. The 20 m tall mini hotel will be constructed using glass, steel and solar lighting costing $1.2 million. Its site is set to be an isolated, open paddock in Dandenong South where people will view the work as they walk or drive by.
Three other large-scale works and 10 smaller works complete the $5.5 million collection which will be unveiled by John Holland Group chairwoman Janet Holmes a Court at Federation Square today. View the works as they are unveiled and have your say on Mytalk.com.au.
